Sub-processors
Draft of 16 October 2026
When a business uses CaptiFi Connect, we process its contacts and messages on its behalf under our data processing agreement. These are the companies we use to do that. Each one is bound by a written contract that protects the data at least as well as our agreement with our customers does.
1. Current sub-processors
| Company | What they do for us | Data involved | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hetzner Online GmbH | Hosts the servers that run CaptiFi Connect, including the database and backups. | All service data: account details, contacts, message content and delivery records. | [data centre location of the production server] |
| D7 Networks [contracting entity] | Delivers campaign texts and texts sent from a sender name to UK mobile networks, and returns delivery reports. | Recipient phone number, sender name or number, and the text of the message. | [country] |
| [mobile network operator for the SIM gateways] | Carries one-to-one texts and replies sent from our UK mobile numbers. | Phone numbers and the text of each message. | United Kingdom |
| [email provider] | Sends account emails such as password resets and account notices. | Account holder names and email addresses. | [country] |
[Add the card payment provider when card payments go live, before any card data is collected]
2. Changes to this list
We'll update this page, and email account holders, at least [30] days before a new sub-processor starts handling customer data. A customer can object on reasonable data protection grounds during that time, as set out in the data processing agreement.
